AI-ASSISTED LAB REPORT AND JOURNAL AUTOFILLAllerguide offers an optional AI-assisted feature that can analyze a laboratory report or similar file to help prefill information in a journal entry.When you choose to use this feature:- The file you select, and information contained in that file, is transmitted to Anthropic, a third-party artificial intelligence service provider.
- The information is shared for the purpose of analyzing the selected document and generating information used to help prefill the journal entry.
- The feature is optional. You can create and edit journal entries without using the AI-assisted feature.
- We do not share these files with Anthropic for advertising.Before personal information is transmitted to a third-party AI provider, Allerguide asks for the user’s permission through an in-app disclosure. If permission is not provided, the selected information is not transmitted to the AI provider.Users should review AI-generated or AI-extracted information for accuracy before relying on or saving it.Anthropic processes information according to the applicable agreements governing our use of its services and its own privacy and security obligations.5. THIRD-PARTY SERVICE PROVIDERSWe use third-party providers to operate parts of the Services. Depending on the feature you use, information may be processed by providers including:- Anthropic: AI-assisted document and text analysis
- Google Cloud Platform: cloud infrastructure and related services
- Cloud Firestore: application data storage
- Firebase Authentication: account authentication

GOOGLE AND APPLE SIGN-INIf you choose Google Sign-In or Sign in with Apple, we receive the limited information made available by the provider that is needed to create or authenticate your Allerguide account.We do not receive your Google or Apple account password.Our use of information received from Google APIs is subject to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including applicable Limited Use requirements.7. AGE REQUIREMENT AND CHILDREN’S PRIVACYAllerguide accounts are intended for people age 13 and older.Every person attempting to create an account is asked to provide a date of birth. If the date of birth indicates that the person is under 13, account creation is not permitted.A child under 13 should not create or use an Allerguide account. A parent or legal guardian may instead use the parent’s or guardian’s own account to organize allergy information on behalf of a child.If a parent or guardian enters information about a child, the parent or guardian is responsible for ensuring that they are authorized to provide that information.If we learn that an account was created directly by a child under 13 contrary to these requirements, we may delete the account and associated information.A parent or guardian who believes a child under 13 has provided personal information directly to Allerguide may contact [email protected].8. COMMUNITY AND FORUM INFORMATIONInformation that you choose to post in a forum or other public or community area can be seen by other users.Do not post laboratory reports, medical records, contact information, or other sensitive information publicly unless you intend for other users to see it.Allerguide may use moderation tools and processes to enforce its community rules, investigate reports, protect users, and remove content that violates applicable rules or law.9. DATA RETENTIONWe retain personal information for as long as reasonably necessary to provide the Services, maintain an active account, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, prevent fraud or abuse, and enforce our agreements.When an account is deleted, we delete or de-identify information associated with the account unless retention is required or permitted for legitimate legal, security, fraud-prevention, or compliance purposes.Some information may remain temporarily in secure backups until those backups are overwritten or deleted through our normal retention cycle.Where information has been processed by a service provider on our behalf, we take reasonable steps to require deletion or handling consistent with the deletion request and applicable law.10. ACCOUNTSYou are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for activity occurring through your account.You agree to provide accurate information when creating and maintaining your account.You may not:
- Create an account using false identity information
- Impersonate another person
- Access another user’s account without authorization
- Attempt to bypass Allerguide’s age restrictions or security features
- Use the Services for unlawful, fraudulent, or abusive purposes4. USER-GENERATED CONTENTAllerguide may allow users to create posts, comments, profiles, journal content, and other content (“User Content”).You are responsible for the User Content you submit.By posting User Content to a community or forum area, you understand that the content may be visible to other Allerguide users.Do not publicly post laboratory reports, medical records, private contact information, or other sensitive information unless you intend for other users to see it.You retain ownership of the User Content you create. By posting User Content in a public or community portion of Allerguide, you grant Allerguide a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to host, store, reproduce, display, and otherwise process that content as reasonably necessary to operate, moderate, secure, and provide the Services.This license ends when the content is deleted from the Services, except to the extent continued retention is reasonably necessary for legal, security, backup, fraud-prevention, or compliance purposes.5. COMMUNITY RULESTo participate in Allerguide community features, you must follow these rules.You may not post, upload, encourage, or distribute content that:- Threatens, harasses, bullies, stalks, or abuses another person
- Promotes hatred or discrimination against a person or group
- Is sexually explicit, pornographic, exploitative, or otherwise inappropriate
- Exploits or endangers children
- Encourages self-harm, violence, or illegal activity
- Contains credible threats of violence
- Reveals another person’s private or sensitive information without authorization
- Impersonates another person or organization
- Is knowingly false, fraudulent, deceptive, or materially misleading
- Infringes copyrights, trademarks, privacy rights, or other legal rights
- Contains malware, malicious code, scams, phishing, or attempts to compromise another user
- Is spam, repetitive promotional content, or unauthorized advertising
- Attempts to sell prohibited, illegal, or regulated products or services
- Encourages unsafe medical practices or presents dangerous health claims as established fact
- Otherwise violates applicable law or these TermsDisagreement, criticism, discussion of difficult allergy experiences, and respectful debate are permitted. Users must still communicate respectfully and comply with these rules.6. REPORTING, BLOCKING, AND MODERATIONAllerguide may provide tools that allow users to report objectionable content or users and, where applicable, block other users.We may review reported or otherwise identified content and may remove, restrict, or limit access to content that violates these Terms, our policies, or applicable law.We may warn, suspend, restrict, or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or create risks for other users or the Services.Moderation decisions may take into account the nature of the content, context, severity, repeated violations, user safety, and applicable law.If you encounter content or behavior that violates these Terms, use the in-app reporting tools where available or contact [email protected].7. COMMUNITY CONTENT IS NOT MEDICAL ADVICECommunity posts are created by users, not by Allerguide.Users may describe personal experiences with allergies, restaurants, products, treatments, healthcare professionals, medications, testing, or other health-related topics.Allerguide does not verify every community statement and does not guarantee that user-generated information is accurate, complete, current, or medically appropriate.Do not rely on a community post as a substitute for professional medical advice.8. AI-ASSISTED JOURNAL AUTOFILLAllerguide may offer an optional AI-assisted feature that analyzes a laboratory report or similar file to help prefill information in a journal entry.AI-generated or AI-extracted information may contain mistakes, omissions, or incorrect interpretations. You are responsible for reviewing and confirming information before saving or relying on it.The AI feature is not intended to diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any medical condition and is not a substitute for review by a qualified healthcare professional.When you choose to use this feature, the selected file and information contained in it may be transmitted to Anthropic, a third-party artificial intelligence service provider, for the purpose of analyzing the document and helping prefill the journal entry.Use of the AI-assisted feature is optional. You may create and edit journal entries without using the AI-assisted feature.Before Allerguide transmits personal or health information to a third-party AI provider, the app will present a separate in-app disclosure and request permission for that transmission. Your acceptance of these Terms does not by itself constitute consent to send a laboratory report or other personal information to a third-party AI provider.9. TRANSLATIONSAllerguide may provide automated translations of allergy-related information.Automated translations may contain errors or may not capture context precisely. Users should review important translated information and, where appropriate, confirm it with a fluent speaker or qualified professional.Allerguide does not guarantee that a translation will be complete, accurate, or suitable for a medical emergency.10. THIRD-PARTY SERVICESCertain Allerguide features rely on third-party service providers, including cloud, authentication, translation, storage, and artificial intelligence providers.Your use of third-party services may also be subject to the applicable provider’s terms and privacy practices.Allerguide is not responsible for third-party services outside our control, except to the extent required by applicable law.11.
